30+ Years of History and Realizations
The Committee for the Advancement of Gressier-Haiti (CAGH) was founded in New York on April 6, 1991. The association’s mission is to participate in the economic, educational, and social development of Gressier and its surroundings.

CAGH also set up branches in Boston, Miami, and encouraged their fellow countrymen living in France to create a similar association in Paris. Hence, they chose to form an association with a different name called Committee of Aid for the Development of Gressier-Haiti (CADGH). The partnership between the two associations led to the creation of, at the Gressier Congress in 1996, a Haiti based association named the Committee of Liaison for the Development of Gressier
(COLIDEG) under the leadership of the coordinator, Ernest Massena. In 2010, the Boston branch formed the board of directors of CAGH to effectively coordinate the implementation of various programs in Gressier. Consequently, the headquarters of CAGH was relocated to Boston, Massachusetts. In 2013, COLIDEG regained its original name, CAGH-GRESSIER, to more intently embody CAGH’s mission in Gressier.

To this day, CAGH maintains its partnership with other sister organizations established throughout the neighborhoods of the municipality. We share an identical vision and collaborate with these associations to achieve a common objective: the development of the Gressier regions. In this regard, CAGH has worked tirelessly for 33 years to improve the lives of the residents of the Town and its neighboring localities.
